Dear
Parents,
I
hope everyone had an awesome weekend. All the children have settled
into routine quickly. They did really well and had a fun time on our
get to know your Prayer Pal Day. They loved racing their Prayer Pals
in the gym, making snack with them, and doing Get to Know Me
Activities. Some were a little scared at Church but were all very
well behaved, you should be very proud of them.
Thanks
for all the generous donations of snacks and a special thanks to
Titus Family's donation of Kinetic Sand, the children loved it. Also,
thanks for the use of your family pictures, they will be displayed on
our Bulletin Board. Later in the year each child will have a turn to
display their pictures, so whenever you would like to send in some
pictures of your child doing things they enjoy and with their family.
I will keep them until it is their turn.
So
that you may get it on your calendars I wanted to let you know that
we are planning a Field Trip on December 8th, more details
will follow in the future.
Here
are some of the things that will keep us busy this week:
Reading:
We will sing along with “We are the Alphabet”, “Monster Truck
ABCs”, and the “ABC Collection” on the Smart Board. Our main
Letter will be Letter A with our themes Apples, Ants, and Airplanes.

Whenever you get a chance it is great to let your child practice
cutting with a scissors.
S.S./Science:
We will do “My Big World, How Does an Apple Grow?”, watch video
about life cycle of an apple, learn about ants, enjoy Show-N-Tell,
and Letter Bag.
Religion:
We will be Reading about the Story of the Creation, learning songs
and watching videos about Creation, working on our prayers, and
going to Mass.
Craft:
Make hand print apples, paint “God made Night” and “God Made
Day” pictures, Find animal stickers and pictures for “God Made
the Animals”, make tissue paper fish, and airplane pictures.
Story

Day and Night?”, “A Was Once an Apple Pie?”, “Under the Apple
Tree”, “Apples A to Z”, “The Adventures of Abby Alligator”,
and “Pickin Apples”.
