Dear Parents,
I hope everyone had an awesome Labor Day Weekend, it was so nice to see so many of you and your children at the Picnic. Thank you to everyone who sent in so many snacks, at this time we have plenty, I will send a note when we are in need of more.

On the first Tuesday of every month your child's Prayer Pal will come for a visit and will help your child with a project and spend sometime together. This week they helped the younger children make a sticker scene of Noah's Ark, sing “The Animals Went in Two by Two”, then went outside together to Blow Bubbles, Bounce Balls, and write Letter “B” with Chalk. The children sit with the older student, their Prayer Pal, each week at Church.

This week we worked on Letter “B” and the children enjoyed: Blowing Bubbles; Bouncing Balls; Playing with Balloons; making Edible Bears; sorting Gummy Bears(finding which color had most, least, or equal, and practiced counting); sorted Bear Counters(Finding biggest, medium, small, working on colors and counting); they loved doing “The Cool Bear Hunt”; we sang “Ten Bears in a Bed”, while using Teddy Grahams and Marshmallow Pillows to act out (they learned subtracting while enjoying a yummy snack); made cereal B and added bear stickers, they were really good at making Lace Card Bears; read “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” and then painted their own Bear and dictated to Teacher what they saw; did actions to Teddy Bear Teddy Bear, and read many Bear Books. Their Favorite was our Bear Picnic.

This week we also worked on the Story of Noah's Ark: reading the story; watching videos and songs about it on Smart Board; water painted picture, and did sticker scene. We continue working on Sign of Cross, folding our hands, and our Prayers.

We always do many Action Songs that have exercise to learn Numbers, colors, ABCs, Days of the Week, Opposites, and many more. We do these throughout the Day. We have Show-n-Tell every Thursday and we see what the Letter Bag Person found to put in the Letter Bag. Its hard to list everything because there are so many fun learning opportunities throughout the day. If you ever have any concerns or questions feel free to contact me at anytime.

Remember next Thursday is Grandparents Day, we are looking forward to spending time with them.

God Bless!

Miss Marie
