Last week our Theme was “F is for
Fall”. The children made: Fall Friend Scarecrows, Acorn Men, Fall
Sticker Scene, Fall Trees, “Fall Brings....” Books, “Falling
For Jesus..”picture, and Fruit Loop “F is for Fall” Picture.
Last week we also enjoyed a visit with our Prayer Pals who helped the
children make their own Rosaries, colored a Picture of Mary(showing
the children how to color in the lines), and shared a snack with
them. We also made fingerprint Rosaries, practiced the “Hail Mary”,
and prayed along with The Children Joyful Mysteries on Youtube. In
class we learned about Squares, Fall changes, tried different kinds
of Fruit, sang and danced to many Fall Songs, and enjoyed many Fall
Books(Their favorites were “When the Leaf Blew In”and “There
Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves”).
This week we have been learning all
about Letter G. We made Gak for the Activity Table( a little messy)
but they loved it. They made “G” on green paper with glue and
gold glitter and wrote the word Ghost and added Ghost stickers; Ghost
Lace Cards; Foot Print Ghost; and Edible Ghost. They have been
working on The Months of the year, made Calendar Pages, sang along
with many counting Ghost and Halloween Songs, worked on our
assessments for Parent Teacher Conferences, sorted Halloween
Counters, talked about how God made all living things to grow,
learned some of the Loving Words God wants us to use, and we work on
our Prayers every day.
REMEMBER AT THIS TIME WE ARE
COLLECTING ITEMS TO SEND TO OUR TROOPS!
God Bless!!
Miss Marie
